El Dorado Village is located at the entrance to the area known as Los Corales, in Alemania Avenue (coming from the Punta Cana airport), shortly before reaching El Cortecito, in full Bavaro Beach, in the east coast of the Dominican Republic.

The two most common ways to reach to El Dorado Village are from the country's capitol, Santo Domingo, or landing at the Punta Cana International airport. You can also use the interactive map at the bottom of this page to easily locate its location.


To reach El Dorado Village from Santo Domingo the simplest is to use the Expreso Bavaro shuttle. This is a bus service between the capitol and Bavaro, with 6 times a day including holidays, and that in only three hours takes you to Bavaro. The service times are at 07:00, 09:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:00 and 16:00. The ticket price is 400 RD$ (about 10 USD) and the stop is on Calle Juan Sanchez Ramirez 31. No booking or advance sale is accepted, so it is recommended to arrive to stop a little before the departure time to avoid to meet the bus full and have not to wait for the next service.

This transport will leave Santo Domingo by Las Americas Highway, through Boca Chica, San Pedro de Macoris and La Romana, from where will take Coral Highway, which goes directly to Punta Cana airport and then to Bavaro. While the service is non-stop, once near Bavaro, the driver makes stops where passengers ask him, so if you request to stop at the entrance to Los Corales, the bus leaves you right outside the residential El Dorado Village.

You can use the Expreso Bavaro for the reverse trip, if you want to travel to make a tour for the capitol or to take the flight back. In that case, the service must be taken in Plaza Friusa, next to the Politur headquarters, having the same schedule and price as the service from Santo Domingo.

If you land in Punta Cana, is just a short 20 minutes from El Dorado Village. The easiest way is to take a taxi of the many who are expecting the arrival of passengers at airport gates, and tell the driver you want to go to Plaza El Dorado Village at the entrance to Los Corales. The ride is fast taking the Eastern Boulevard to the junction with Barcelo Avenue, following through this same avenue until reaching Alemania Avenue, and later to Los Corales.
